Albert Oyegun

Director of System Engineering at Terran Orbital

Albert Oyegun has extensive work experience in the aerospace industry. Albert is currently serving as the Director of System Engineering at Terran Orbital Corporation since May 2023, where they previously held the role of Systems Engineering Manager from November 2021.

Prior to that, Oyegun worked at Rockwell Collins from October 2017 to November 2021, where they held the position of Senior Engineering Manager. Albert'sresponsibilities included managing, mentoring, and developing technical talent, leading product development projects, and ensuring product integrity and manufacturability. Albert was also involved in aircraft electrification projects.

Before joining Rockwell Collins, Oyegun worked at Safran Electronics & Defense, Avionics USA, LLC. as the Lead Mechanical Engineer from December 2015 to November 2016. In this role, they led electromechanical and control systems projects, utilized design methodologies, and conducted analysis for avionics technologies.

From June 2014 to December 2015, Oyegun worked as a Sr. Product Support Engineer at Safran Electronics & Defense, Avionics USA, LLC. Here, they provided support for avionics systems.

Oyegun started their career as a Development Engineer at Pratt & Whitney in January 2012 and worked there until June 2014. Albert also gained research experience as a Research Assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology from January 2010 to December 2011.

Additionally, Oyegun worked as a Systems Engineer at Tennessee Valley Authority from May 2009 to August 2010 and as an Advanced Mechanical Design Intern at GE Energy from August 2008 to December 2008.

Albert Oyegun has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Albert also holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution. In addition to their degrees, they have obtained certifications in Six Sigma Green Belt from Safran in December 2015 and in Lean Manufacturing from the University of Michigan in August 2013.
