Emily Snyder

Emily Snyder is a geophysicist with a diverse background in research and modeling related to seismic hazards, ground contamination, and geological properties. Currently employed at TerranearPMC since May 2022, previous experience includes a post-master's role at Los Alamos National Laboratory where investigations focused on small earthquakes and remediation modeling. Notably, a term with NASA's DEVELOP involved mapping and modeling ecological impacts utilizing satellite imagery. Academic accomplishments include a Master of Science in Geophysics from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. Additional experience encompasses internships and research assistantships in geophysical instrumentation, data analysis, and contamination modeling across various institutions.
