Kate Traynor

Kate Traynor is an Environmental Technician at Terrapex and a Senator at the University of Waterloo, where involvement includes advising revisions to Policy 42 regarding Sexual Violence prevention and serving on the Long Range Planning Committee. Kate's leadership roles encompass Vice President for the Waterloo Undergraduate Student Association and the Ontario Undergraduate Student Alliance, as well as Chair of the Undergraduates of Canadian Research Intensive Universities. Additional contributions include student representation on the City of Waterloo Town & Gown Committee, past positions in various housing and community leadership roles, and event coordination for student associations. Currently pursuing a degree in Urban Design, Kate has a foundation in product design and extensive experience in fostering student engagement and environmental sustainability initiatives.
