terraplasma medical

Founded in March 2016, terraplasma medical's vision is to sell and distribute cold atmospheric plasma devices for the treatment of chronic and acute wounds and skin diseases for the professional use. The 'plasma care' device is addressing the wound healing of chronic and acute wounds by effectively using cold atmospheric plasma to inactivate the bacteria located in the wound. The 'plasma care' device offers the following benefits to its customers: - Effective: By using cold plasma, bacteria on the wound surface is inactivated in a few seconds. This is also true for multi-resistant bacteria. The use of antiseptics and antibiotics is reduced at the same time. - Fast: The daily plasma treatment only takes approximately 60s. - Painless: The treatment itself is painless and is therefore well-tolerated by patients. - No side effects: There are no indications of allergic reactions. - Mobile & simple: The 'plasma care' device is battery-operated and simple to use. - Clinical research: plasma medicine in general is widely accepted today. Nevertheless terraplasma medical has conducted extensive pre-clinical studies for safety and efficacy. Further terraplasma medical has started a multicenter clinical trial and observational studies. This platform is used to inform and get in contact with people interested in wound care and potential clients, like clinics, wound centers, general practitioners, medical specialists, as well as home care services and nursery homes.
