Francisco Espinosa Loza

Francisco Espinosa Loza is a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory since June 2019, with previous roles including Thermal Structural Analyst as an Independent Consultant and Thermal Structural Design Engineer at TerraPower LLC. With a history of working at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory from 2001 to 2016, Francisco's expertise encompasses hydrogen storage, combustion, lasers, and the National Ignition Facility (NIF). Francisco holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Guanajuato and a Ph.D. in Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering from the University of California, Davis.
