Greg Vetterick

Greg Vetterick is a highly experienced professional in the field of materials science and engineering, currently serving as Senior Manager of Materials & Chemistry at TerraPower LLC since September 2014. In this role, Greg oversees the surface engineering of core components for sodium-cooled TWR reactors and leads the design and fabrication of tribological testing systems. With a strong background in research and development, Greg holds a Ph.D. from Drexel University and has collaborated with multiple national laboratories. Previous roles include a Visiting Scientist position at Los Alamos National Laboratory and various research assistantships at Iowa State University. Greg's expertise encompasses advanced structural materials for reactors, radiation damage recovery, and nanocrystalline materials development.
