Olu O. is an accomplished nuclear engineer with extensive experience in reactor safety and accident analysis, currently serving as a Project Account Engineer and Principal Engineer at TerraPower LLC since March 2016. In this role, Olu O. has been instrumental in developing severe accident prevention strategies for advanced TWR reactor designs and managing site evaluations for the Natrium Project. Previous positions include Project Lead/Post-doctoral Research Fellow at NC State University, where Olu O. led research on safety margin characterization for innovative small modular reactors, and Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Idaho, focusing on code validation for thermal-hydraulic systems. Olu O. also holds a Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Idaho and additional qualifications in Environmental and Energy Engineering from the University of Sheffield.
