Mike Jovanovic

Mike Jovanovic is an accomplished environmental professional with extensive experience in management and regulatory affairs across multiple companies. From March 2015, Jovanovic served as the Vice President of Environmental Affairs and Communications at Terrapure Environmental, overseeing corporate communications and environmental health and safety management. Prior to that, Jovanovic held various roles at Newalta Corporation, including General Manager of Industrial Ontario and Regional Manager for Hamilton Operations, where responsibilities encompassed operations management, regulatory compliance, and financial oversight. Jovanovic's career began at PSC, where management of environmental compliance and operational procedures was a key focus. Earlier roles included a District Supervisor position at the Ontario Ministry of the Environment, leading pollution abatement projects, and project management at Canviro Consultants Ltd. Mike Jovanovic holds a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from McMaster University and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
