BJ Carretta has extensive experience in marketing and media roles. BJ started their career as the Director of Video, Music, and Product Development at NBC Universal Television Distribution in 2000. BJ then joined NBC Sports Group in 2006, where they served as the Vice President of Marketing, Communications, and Partnerships for almost nine years. In 2015, they transitioned to Fender Musical Instruments Corporation as the VP of Digital Brand Marketing, Media, and Communications. At Fender, they oversaw global brand voice distribution and led marketing strategies for Fender Digital. In 2017, they joined MedMen as the Chief Marketing Officer. After leaving MedMen, they became an Advisor for Fleur Marché and Sagely Naturals. In 2018, they established Carretta Consulting, a full-service marketing and media agency specializing in cannabis and entertainment. BJ Carretta's recent roles include Senior Vice President of Marketing at Columbia Care and TerrAscend. Additionally, they briefly worked as a marketer at Sandland Sleep from 2020 to 2021.
BJ Carretta earned a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from Purdue University, where they attended from 1996 to 2000.
