Carl Jack BSCS SMC (CSM)

Carl Jack has extensive work experience in the field of technology and project management. Carl has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and is a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).

Carl'smost recent position is as a Senior Technology Project Manager at TerrAscend, where they are responsible for driving cross-functional, strategic technology initiatives. Carl leads Agile projects, acting as a liaison between business teams and technology solutions. Carl has a product-based mindset and has proven experience managing complex technology projects.

Prior to this role, Carl worked at LabCorp as an IT Director, Software Applications. Carl managed day-to-day operations for a team of 20+ direct reports and implemented a tailored Agile process for software development. Carl led software developer teams on multiple enterprise application projects, including user interface conversions, middleware conversions, and system upgrades.

Before LabCorp, Carl held the position of Director of Software Engineering at Parata Systems. There, they were responsible for the full software development lifecycle of the product portfolio. Carl managed a department of 25 engineers and developed process improvements for Agile software development and system integration.

Carl also worked as a Program Manager at CARQUEST, where they managed the project management of an enterprise Point-Of-Sale software solution. Carl joined the project halfway through and successfully completed deployment for over 1,500 stores nationwide.

Additionally, Carl served as the Director of Professional Services at InCentric Solutions, an IBM Business Partner. Carl managed a team of 15-20 consultants and directed the Field Service Mobility program for Time Warner Cable.

Earlier in their career, Carl held various positions, including Director of CDMA Software at Sony Ericsson, Software Engineering Consultant at OXFORD ASSOCIATES LIMITED, Technical Manager at SAIC, Software Engineering Consultant at Technical Directions, and Senior System Analyst at Systems Integrated.

Throughout their career, Carl has demonstrated strong leadership skills, managed teams of engineers and consultants, and successfully delivered complex software projects. Carl has expertise in Agile methodologies, systems integration, and full software development lifecycle.

Carl Jack obtained a BSCS degree in Computer Science from National University. Carl also holds certifications in Scrum Fundamentals (SFC) and Scrum Master (SMC) from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile, earned in October 2022.
