Sumit Mahajan

Sumit Mahajan is an experienced professional in the oil and gas sector, currently serving as Operations and Contracts Manager at Terraseis Group since 2019, focusing on business development in Iraq and Libya, and successfully leading a significant 3D seismic contract near Mosul for DNO. Prior to this role, Sumit held the position of Manager - Technical & Sales at Asian Oilfield Services Limited from 2013 to 2019, where responsibilities included developing bidding strategies, managing cash flow and P&L, and negotiating contracts for projects under Indian government programs. Notably, Sumit led the company's first $10M artificial energy source 3D seismic contract. Earlier experience includes serving as Sales and Technical Engineer, contributing to onshore seismic data acquisition projects across multiple countries and managing interactions with military and governmental authorities. Sumit holds a Bachelor and Master's in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, along with studies at Shizuoka University.
