Nico van Den Hooff

Nico Van den Hooff is a seasoned Machine Learning Engineer with expertise in architecting automated MLOps systems and deploying advanced computer vision models. Currently employed at TerraSense Analytics since October 2024, Nico is focused on developing end-to-end systems for SOT models. Previously, at Xtract One Technologies from July 2022 to September 2024, leadership skills were demonstrated by guiding the ML team through the deployment of weapons detection models. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Consultant at KPMG from January 2018 to January 2021, leading teams alongside major financial institutions, and working as a Consultant at Baker Tilly Canada from September 2015 to December 2017. Educational qualifications include a Master of Data Science from The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Technology in Accounting from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
