Anindit Roy Chowdhury serves as the Country Director at Terre des hommes foundation since March 2023, overseeing the coordination of programme, finance, HR, communication, and resource mobilization. Previously held positions include Chief Programme Officer at Save the Children, India, focusing on programme integration and advocacy, as well as Director of Programmes, Policy and Impact, where strategic leadership was provided for programme design and implementation. Anindit has also worked as Programme Manager for Laudes Foundation, addressing Gender Justice and Human Rights, and as Director of Advocacy, Resource Mobilization and Communications at the International Planned Parenthood Federation, leading SRHR initiatives in a challenging regional context. Earlier experiences include strategic resource mobilization at UN Women, project leadership at IOM focusing on trafficking survivors, and roles at the International Youth Foundation and Sanlaap North America. Anindit holds a Master’s degree in Management of Non-Governmental Organizations from The London School of Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the University of Calcutta.
