Terre Haute Casino Resort is owned by Churchill Downs Incorporated (NASDAQ: CHDN) (“CDI”). The official groundbreaking ceremony took place on June 21, 2022. The casino and core restaurants are set to open April 5, 2024 and the hotel and rooftop bar are set to open May 15, 2024. Once completed, the approximately $290 million Terre Haute Casino Resort will feature 1,000 slot machines; 35 table games including blackjack, craps, roulette, and live poker; a 122-room luxury hotel with pool; a state-of-the-art sports book; and 5 restaurants and 6 bars. The casino resort will create over 500 jobs with a mix of full-time and part-time employees. It is expected to also generate up to 1,000 construction jobs.
