Joann Cannata

JoAnn Cannata has over three decades of experience in the healthcare and financial sectors. Since May 1991, JoAnn has served as the Compliance and Privacy Officer and Information Architect at Terrebonne General Medical Center, focusing on meaningful use, analytical reporting, electronic quality measures, HIPAA security, and risk assessment. JoAnn also held the position of Controller, managing financial statement preparation, cash management, payroll, and healthcare reimbursement. Prior to this role, JoAnn worked at Ernst & Young from 1983 to January 1991 as a Manager, supervising audits with a focus on the healthcare industry and providing forensic accounting for legal support. JoAnn holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a double major in Accounting and Finance from Loyola University New Orleans, earned from 1979 to 1983.
