The Tertiary Education Commission/Te Amorangi Mātauranga Matua (TEC), is the Government's careers and tertiary education investment agency. We invest approximately $3.2 billion in all forms of post-secondary school education. We fund more than 700 of New Zealand's tertiary education organisations supporting education, training, and research. As of 1 July 2017 our role extends to shaping the future of the careers information and advice for all New Zealanders to encourage lifelong learning. From January 2018 we lead the implementation of the Government's new fees-free initiative. TEC reserves the right to remove any post for any reason. These include unacceptable comments such as those that: -Contain spam or advertising -Are clearly off topic or disruptive -Are obscene, vulgar, racist or sexually explicit.
