Colin MacIver

Colin Maciver's work experience begins in 1998 at Valley Control Systems as an Electronic Design Engineer. Colin then worked at Laird Technologies as a Product Engineer and later as a Senior Product Engineer/Supervisor until 2004. From 2004 to 2010, they were employed by Bausch + Lomb as an Equipment Development Engineer. In 2010, they joined Vascutek Ltd, a TERUMO Company, as a New Product Introduction Engineer. Colin then went on to work at Vascutek as a Technical Team Lead in the OEM department from 2014 to 2018. Currently, Colin serves as the Head of Engineering at Terumo Aortic since 2022. Prior to this role, they held positions such as Process and Systems Engineering Manager and OEM Manager at Terumo Aortic. Additionally, they had short-term positions at Honeywell, TMSINCHINNAN, and CVCS (PLEXUS LTD) as a Test Engineer, Debug/Repair Technician, and Debug Technician, respectively.

Colin Maciver's education history begins in 1992 when they attended Auchenharvie Academy in Stevenston for higher education administration. After completing their studies there, they pursued further education at the University of Paisley from 1993 to 1996. During this time, they obtained a BSc degree in Electronic Technology. Additionally, they completed a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electronic Engineering at Paisley University in 1995.
