Sharon Hardie

Sharon Hardie currently serves as QMS Systems Manager at Terumo Aortic since January 2023 and holds the position of Quality Control Manager at LumiraDx since May 2021, where laboratory operations for POC diagnostic platform technologies are overseen. Previously, Sharon Hardie worked as Quality Control Manager at Merck Millipore, managing release testing of IVDs and FDA licensed products from December 2007 to May 2021. As a Technology Development Scientist at Valneva from May 2005 to November 2007, Sharon developed and validated immunoassays, contributing to audit preparations for regulatory bodies. Sharon began their career as a Research And Development Scientist at Randox, focusing on novel immunoassay automation from December 2001 to May 2005. Sharon Hardie's educational background includes a PhD in Molecular Genetics/Organic Chemistry from the University of Glasgow, along with a law degree (LLB) from the University of Strathclyde and several other degrees in biosciences and medicinal chemistry.
