Carlos Brenes

Carlos Brenes is a seasoned procurement and engineering professional with extensive experience in the medical device industry. Currently serving as the Global Indirect Procurement Lead at Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies since July 2021, Carlos previously held positions as Procurement Manager and Planning & Programs Manager at Thomson Reuters. With prior roles including Sr. Sourcing Specialist at Boston Scientific and Sr. Buyer at Allergan, Carlos has demonstrated expertise in managing key supplier negotiations and leading procurement organizations to meet performance indicators. Carlos holds a degree in Industrial Engineering and a Master in Supply Chain Management from Universidad Latina de Costa Rica, alongside a Green Belt Certification from PXS.
