Dr. Maria Knaub is currently serving as the Senior Medical Affairs Operations Lead for Cell Therapy Technologies at Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies since September 2021. Previously, Dr. Knaub worked as a Project Manager at Marken, focusing on patient-centered Supply Chain Management for clinical studies, and spent four years as an Associate Research Scientist at University Hospital Heidelberg, conducting basic research on signaling pathways in liver cancer development. Early in her career, Dr. Knaub served as a paramedic with Johanniter Unfallhilfe e.V. and DRK Rettungsdienst Westpfalz GmbH. Dr. Knaub holds a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Heidelberg University, as well as certifications in Project Management and Business Administration.
