Matt Lomicka

Matt Lomicka serves as the Global R&D Product Portfolio Leader at Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies, a position held since 2012, where responsibilities include orchestrating worldwide R&D product development and driving product lifecycle management. Previous roles at Terumo BCT include R&D Platform Director for Global Blood Solutions, Director of Disposables Development, and Sr Engineering Manager, focusing on new product development and sustaining engineering across multiple product lines. Prior to Terumo, Matt Lomicka worked at Zimmer Biomet as a Sr Development Engineer, leading projects in dental implant product development, and at Breg as a Product Development Engineer. Matt Lomicka holds a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from UC San Diego.
