Alex Kudrenko has over 19 years of work experience in various engineering roles. Most recently, they served as the Lead Project Manager at TES Group starting in May 2019. Prior to that, Alex worked as a Senior R&D Electrical Engineer at Mallaghan Engineering Ltd from May 2016 to May 2019.
Before joining Mallaghan Engineering, Alex worked at TES NI LTD for 8 years as a Principal Electrical Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for leading and managing the daily activities of the engineering department. Alex worked closely with the project team, procurement, systems engineering, and methods to provide information on system requirements and develop schedules. Alex also played a key role in verifying and approving design changes and drawing releases, analyzing project specifications, and mitigating risks. Additionally, they were involved in BIM Level 2 adaptation, developing internal standards and engineering practices, hiring and training engineering staff, and planning operations of the engineering department.
Prior to their time at TES NI LTD, Alex worked at Enisca as an Electrical Engineer from September 2004 to December 2007. Alex also gained experience as a freelance technical translator, being responsible for bilateral translation of software, websites, manuals, and technical documentation related to engineering, manufacturing, IT, and the building and water industry.
Throughout their career, Alex has demonstrated a strong technical expertise in electrical engineering and has proven their ability to lead and manage projects effectively.
Alex Kudrenko attended the University of Latvia from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a degree in Linguistics. From 2006 to 2009, they studied at Upper Bann Institute, specializing in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and obtaining an NC qualification. Alex then pursued a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from Northern Regional College from 2009 to 2011. Lastly, they completed a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Engineering at The Open University from 2011 to 2013.
