Tom Hazen

Tom Hazen has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Tom is currently the Head of partnerships and business development at TES-H2 | Tree Energy Solutions, where they focus on providing green hydrogen at scale in global markets. Tom has also served as an Advisory Board Member at Form International, a management and consulting firm involved in sustainable forestry and landscape management. Prior to that, Tom worked at Shell, holding various positions such as General Manager for Nature Based Solutions in EMEA, General Manager of NBS North America (ad interim), Finance Manager for Energy Transition, and Senior Manager in M&A and commercial finance. Tom also has experience in group reporting, business analysis, and team leadership.

Tom Hazen earned a Masters in Business Administration with a specialization in Strategy (Scenario Planning) from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from the years 2000 to 2005. Tom has also completed additional certifications, including an edX Verified Certificate for Landscape Finance from edX in January 2022, an edX Verified Certificate for Sustainable Soil Management from edX in December 2021, Advanced Corporate Finance from London Business School in 2013, and Managing Mergers, Acquisitions, and Divestments from INSEAD in October 2011.
