Oldřich Kodym

Oldřich Kodym is a Research and Development Engineer at TESCAN 3DIM, s.r.o., specializing in machine learning applications for computer-assisted surgery planning since January 2018. Previous experience includes serving as a PhD student and junior research technician at Brno University of Technology from January 2016 to July 2021, and supporting research in programming and analysis of medical imagery during Master's studies. Notable internships include developing medical image segmentation methods at 3Dim Laboratory s.r.o. and conducting magnetic resonance data analysis at CEITEC. Oldřich Kodym holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science and a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering and Bioinformatics from Brno University of Technology, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering and Bioinformatics, with additional education at the University of Eastern Finland.
