Jeffrey Santos has a diverse work experience in the field of electrical engineering and controls. Jeffrey started their career as an electrician in the US Navy from 2006 to 2010. After their military service, they worked as an electrical apprentice at Industrial Technical Services, Inc. where they focused on repairing and maintaining VFDs and components. In 2011, they worked as an industrial electrician at Airtech International.
In 2013, Jeffrey moved to Tropical Foods where they were an electronics technician. Jeffrey assisted in designing control systems and created electrical CAD drawings. Subsequently, they joined Parker Hannifin as an electrical controls engineer, where they designed, automated, and commissioned industrial controls to improve process flow and efficiency. Jeffrey also implemented PID control and monitored diagnostics of machines.
In the same year, Jeffrey also worked as an electrician at Pacific Plastics Inc. and later joined Amada America, Inc. as an electrical controls engineer. At Amada, they designed, developed, implemented, and supported electrical control systems for laser cutting machines and sheet metal material handling automation systems.
From 2016 to 2020, Jeffrey worked at Minarik, A Division of Kaman, as a system design engineer, where they played a key role in design engineering. Currently, they are working as a design engineer at Tesco Controls, Inc., where they apply their skills in designing various projects.
Throughout their career, Jeffrey has demonstrated their expertise in electrical engineering, controls design, PLC programming, and troubleshooting.
Jeffrey Santos attended the Southern California Institute of Technology from 2010 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering.
