Mike Riddell is an experienced Senior Product Designer at Tesco since September 2018, where the focus is on ensuring UI design pattern consistency and creatively utilizing the design system. Prior to Tesco, Mike served as Head of Design at Nitro Digital from October 2011 to September 2018, leading a team of over 12 UI and UX Designers and overseeing creative strategy. Earlier experience includes a role as Senior UI Designer at Nitro Digital, where responsibilities encompassed designing digital campaigns for multinational clients, and UI Designer & Front-End Developer at BT from August 2008 to September 2011, which laid a solid foundation in design and development. Mike holds a Bachelor’s degree in Design for Digital Media from Robert Gordon University and an HND in Multimedia Design & Production from North East Scotland College.
