Ales Teska

Ales Teska has worked in the software development industry since 1998. In that year, they co-founded Great Gem s.r.o., where they managed the entire development cycle, including design, build, delivery, and operation, and implemented OS Linux for small businesses. In 2000, they became CTO of DB System Software a.s., where they developed a video-on-demand application with a custom home device and streaming server side, using satellite DVB-S technology for content delivery. In 2002, they became the Software Development Lead for Merlin s.r.o. In 2005, they became the Principal Development Manager for DHL Information Services (Europe) s.r.o., where they managed and supported software development projects and activities for customers of DPDHL (worldwide operations). Ales also led mobile software development and acted as a key influencer in DPDHL's mobile enablement initiatives. In 2007, they founded Exidius. In 2013, they founded TeskaLabs, the idea of which was seeded by their personal experience of working in enterprise mobility cyber security. In 2018, they became a Partner for LibertyAces.

Ales Teska began their educational journey at Gymnasium Tanvald, where they obtained a High degree between 1992 and 1996. Ales then attended Technical University of Liberec, studying Mechatronics, but ultimately dropped out in 2000 to start their own business. In 2011, Ales Teska obtained a Certified ScrumMaster from the Scrum Alliance. A year later, they obtained a Certified Scrum Product Owner from the same institution. In 2019, Ales Teska earned a Certified Engineer - CryptoServer HSMs from Utimaco.
