Joan Marin-Romero

Joan Marin-Romero has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Joan is currently employed as a Mid Level Full Stack Engineer at Tesla Government Inc. since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at LTI - Larsen & Toubro Infotech as a Full Stack Engineer from 2021 to 2022, supporting high-value production bank-to-bank transfer applications.

Before that, Joan worked at Amadeus as a Full Stack Engineer from 2019 to 2020, developing C++ server back-end and Angular js front-end for self check-in kiosks. Joan also provided production support for a mission-critical system. Joan was also a Consulting Software Engineer at MThree Consulting from 2019 to 2020.

Joan gained valuable experience during their time at the University of St. Thomas, where they held multiple roles. Joan worked as an Alexa Skill Intern Developer from 2018 to 2019, and held administrative positions in Residence Life from 2017 to 2018. Joan also had a leadership role as a Conference Crew Lead in 2018, managing and supervising a team of five individuals. Additionally, they worked as a Conference Crew member in 2017, providing excellent customer service and preparing rooms for guests.

Joan also worked briefly at My Textbook Circle as a Promotions/Supervisor in 2017, and held an Application Developer role at the University of St. Thomas from 2015 to 2016.

Joan Marin-Romero completed a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science with a minor in Music from the University of St. Thomas. This educational pursuit took place from 2015 until 2018. Prior to this, from 2011 to 2015, Joan attended Terra Environmental Research Institute for high school, where they focused on Robotics and Engineering.
