Ameya Kamat

Ameya Kamat is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in embedded Linux software and infotainment systems at Tesla, where responsibilities include developing fail-safe systems, performance analysis, and telemetry tools since June 2017. Prior to this, Ameya contributed as a firmware intern at Tesla, focusing on hardware-in-loop testing for the Driver Assistance System. Experience also includes a software test engineer role at IBM, automating tests for IBM Verse, and a teaching assistantship at Carnegie Mellon University, enhancing functional programming expertise. Ameya holds a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, both from Carnegie Mellon University.
