James Bickford is currently the Director of Global Sales for Residential Energy Products at Tesla, where they apply over a decade of experience in technical sales and marketing focused on sustainable energy technologies. Previously, Bickford served as the Head of North America Residential Energy Product Sales at Tesla and held key positions at Tigo Energy, including opening offices and building strategic partnerships across the Asia Pacific region. Bickford co-founded Valence Energy while studying at Santa Clara University, where they earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with University Honors. Early in their career, Bickford gained experience as a Product Marketing Intern at Cypress Semiconductor.
