John Kopf

John Kopf, PE, MASc, is the Engineering Manager of Factory Design at Tesla, where they currently lead engineering and operations efforts. They have over 15 years of experience, including roles at Questor Technology and CLEAResult as a Cleantech & Power Lead and Energy Engineer, respectively. Prior to Tesla, John served as a Staff Engineer, Mechanical & Process Engineering Lead, furthering their expertise in mechanical engineering. They also gained valuable experience in the Canadian Armed Forces and held positions at Stantec and Ventra Plastics Peterborough. John has pursued advanced education, including a Master of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace Engineering from Carleton University, alongside ongoing training in project management.
