Mark Brittain is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in memory controller design and performance optimization. Currently serving as an Autopilot ASIC Engineer at Tesla since September 2017, Mark leads memory controller design and NOC architecture efforts, focusing on system performance analysis. Prior to Tesla, Mark worked as a Staff Design Engineer at ARM, where responsibility included the design of next-generation DDR4 enterprise memory controllers. Mark also held the position of Senior ASIC Engineer at Nvidia, specializing in memory controller logic design, and served as a Hardware Engineer at IBM, where significant contributions included the architecture and design of high-performance memory controllers. Mark's early career includes internships with the National Security Agency and Nortel Networks, where foundational skills in circuit design and telecommunication software were developed. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Texas A&M University.
