Milan Kovac

Milan Kovac is an experienced engineering leader specializing in embedded systems and software development, currently serving as the Director of Optimus (Tesla Bot) and Autopilot Engineering at Tesla Motors since April 2016. In this role, Milan manages both the Optimus program and the engineering teams responsible for software infrastructure for Autopilot and Optimus. Milan's previous positions at Tesla include Director of Autopilot Software Engineering and Senior Engineering Manager, where significant contributions included implementing advanced scheduling systems and optimizing software efficiency. Prior to Tesla, Milan held roles at SKULLY, Methodics, SONY, and Softkinetic, focusing on innovative projects involving embedded systems, software engineering, and real-time processing. Milan holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from HELB-INRACI.
