Mostafa Nofal is currently the Manager of New Products Introduction for Battery Cells at Tesla, where they lead the development of new battery cells tailored for various vehicle segments at the Gigafactory in Berlin. Since joining Tesla in 2020, Mostafa has overseen the cell program from concept to production readiness, integrating manufacturing equipment design and coordinating installation efforts. They previously held roles at Procter & Gamble and Essity, managing complex engineering projects and leading cross-functional teams to enhance production efficiency. Mostafa also served as a Teaching Assistant at the Arab Academy for Science and Technology, guiding students in engineering courses. In addition to their professional achievements, they were an accomplished athlete on the Egyptian National Team for Modern Pentathlon from 2009 to 2012.
