Nikhil Idiculla

Nikhil Idiculla is a Software Engineer currently employed at Tesla since December 2023, where responsibilities include building lifelike simulations for humanoid robots to enhance machine learning policies and software. Previously, Nikhil worked at Cepton from October 2021 to December 2023, designing and implementing manufacturing software for LiDAR component alignment, which improved accuracy significantly. An earlier position as a Software Engineer Intern at EdCast involved developing computer vision prototypes and deploying machine learning models for object identification. Nikhil also gained experience as a Software Engineer Intern at Ilinx LLC, focusing on web development and project management, and as an intern at Ma Foi Analytics, where a prototype semantic search system was developed. Nikhil holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from UCLA, completed in June 2021.
