Travis Axelrod

Travis Axelrod is the Head of Investor Relations and oversees Business Planning and Development at Tesla since April 2018. Prior to this role, Travis gained extensive experience at Goldman Sachs, serving as an Investment Banking Associate and a Summer Associate while covering diverse sectors such as cleantech, real estate, industrials, and healthcare. Travis's earlier career includes positions as an Operations Associate at Goldman Sachs, an Information Technology Co-Op at J&J, an Operations Summer Analyst at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, and an intern at the New Jersey State Assembly, where legislative drafting and research on fair housing in New Jersey were key responsibilities. Travis holds an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Rutgers University.
