Yekeun Jeong

Yekeun Jeong is a highly experienced professional in software engineering and technical leadership, currently serving as Principal Software Engineer and Technical Director at Tesla since February 2022, focusing on geometric vision, autopilot technologies, and Tesla Bot. Previously, Yekeun held significant roles at Aurora, Samsung Electronics, NVIDIA, and Tesla, with expertise in localization, mapping, and autonomous systems. Yekeun's early career at Microsoft involved contributions to augmented reality projects, including Hololens, as well as internships in visual computing and related fields. Yekeun's academic background includes a Master's and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Computer Vision from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology.
