Vladimir Uzelac has extensive work experience in various engineering roles. Vladimir currently serves as the Director of Research Development at TeslaWatt since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Cadence Design Systems for almost a decade, starting in April 2013 as a Principal Design Engineer. During their time at Cadence, they developed and implemented different target libraries and drivers for Xtensa processors, such as XMON - Debug Server for Xtensa architecture, and DMA library and drivers. Before their time at Cadence, Vladimir worked as a Senior R&D Engineer at Tensilica from May 2010 to March 2013. Vladimir also served as a Research Assistant and PhD student at the University of Alabama in Huntsville from August 2006 to May 2010, where they focused on HW/SW development for various sensor platforms. Prior to that, they had an internship as an ASIC Engineer at Tensilica in 2009, where they worked on the design and development of trace and debug subsystems for Tensilica processors. Their career also includes roles as an Engineer at ELSYS Eastern Europe in 2006 and as an ASIC Engineer at HDL Design House from February 2003 to February 2006, focusing on top-level validation of Texas Instruments OMAP platform Emulation Logic. Vladimir Uzelac also has experience as an ASIC Verification Engineer at Texas Instruments in 2005.
Vladimir Uzelac holds a PhD degree in Computer Engineering, which they obtained from The University of Alabama in Huntsville. Vladimir pursued their doctoral studies from 2006 to 2010. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Belgrade, where they earned a Dipl. Ing. degree in Electrical Engineering. Their studies at the University of Belgrade spanned from 1996 to 2002.
