Ryan W. Smith

Ryan W. Smith, SPHR has a diverse work experience in human resources and talent acquisition. Ryan W. is currently serving as the Director of Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, and Corporate Development at Tessco Technologies. Previously, Ryan held the position of Vice President of People Operations at Flash Technology Group, LLC, where they successfully lowered the turnover rate and navigated the company through challenging COVID-19 regulations. Ryan W. also contributed to contract proposals and implemented streamlined processes for growth. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Human Resources at Righttime Medical Care and as a Human Resources Manager, Coordinator, and Staffing Specialist at Peapod. In these roles, Ryan was involved in various HR functions such as policy development, onboarding, recruitment, and employee relations.

Ryan W. Smith, SPHR has a strong education background in business and psychology. Ryan W. obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from both the University of Baltimore Merrick School of Business and Towson University in 2016. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Mary Washington in 2010.

In addition to their degrees, Ryan has obtained two certifications from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI). In 2012, they earned the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification, followed by the more advanced Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification in 2017.
