Diana Zatreanu is a Principal Scientist at Tessellate BIO since May 2023, focusing on discovering novel genetic and chemical synthetic lethal interactions for cancer treatment, particularly in DNA damage and repair. Previously, Diana served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute of Cancer Research from June 2018 to April 2023, and as a PhD Student at The Francis Crick Institute from April 2015 to June 2018, where research centered on the relationship between transcription stress and genomic instability. Diana’s early career included a role as a Researcher at Cancer Research UK from January 2014 to April 2015. Education includes a PhD in Life Sciences from UCL, a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Leiden University, and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Bucharest, complemented by additional training in enterprise and science communication at UCL.
