Karen Leyton Mejias

Karen Leyton Mejias has a diverse work experience with various companies. In 2017 and 2018, they worked as an Operador de Parque at FANTASILANDIA. In 2020, they interned as a Prácticante TI at Cartones San Fernando S.A. Karen then joined IBM in 2021, first as a Student at Global Business Services (IBM Chile) from February to July, and later as a Middleware Developer from July to December. Currently, they are working as a Software Developer I at Tessera Data, starting in May 2022.

Karen Leyton Mejias attended Universidad Mayor in 2013, where they studied Tecnología Médica. However, it is unclear if they obtained a degree from this institution. From 2014 to 2017, they pursued a Licenciatura in Tecnología Médica at Universidad Andrés Bello. In 2018, they enrolled at Duoc UC and studied Ingeniería Informática. Karen completed their degree in this field in 2021.

In addition to their formal education, Karen Leyton Mejias has obtained several certifications. In October 2020, they received the Scrum Foundation Professional Certificate from CertiProf. Throughout 2021, they earned multiple certifications from IBM, including Cognitive Practitioner, Data Science Foundations - Level 1, Docker Essentials: A Developer Introduction, IBM Agile Explorer, Watson and Cloud Foundations, and Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner.
