Sarah Benson

Sarah Benson is an Engineer I in LNP Process Development at Tessera Therapeutics since July 2023. Previous experience includes serving as an Undergraduate Laboratory Member at Northeastern University in the Koppes Laboratory, focusing on cell culture for neuromodulation research, and completing a co-op in Upstream Process Development of Viral Vectors at Ring Therapeutics. Sarah also contributed to the Analytical Development team at SQZ Biotechnologies, where responsibilities included hands-on laboratory experiments and data analysis for an IND cell therapy product. Additionally, Sarah held roles as a mentor and teaching assistant for first-year engineering students, enhancing their presentation skills, and worked as an Undergraduate Laboratory Member in the Lustig Laboratory, where project development and simulation software skills were advanced. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering and Biochemistry from Northeastern University, earned in 2023.
