William Wheeler

William Wheeler currently serves as Vice President of Corporate Law at Tessera Therapeutics since January 2024. Prior to this role, William held the position of Senior Vice President and Vice President of Corporate Law at AlloVir from March 2021 to January 2024. William's experience at Alexion Pharmaceuticals spanned nearly nine years, during which time roles included Executive Director of Transactional and Corporate Counsel and Assistant Secretary, as well as Senior Director and Director of Corporate Counsel. Earlier career experience includes serving as an Associate at Ropes & Gray LLP and Assurance Associate at PwC. William holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Doctor of Law from Arizona State University, along with a Master’s degree in Accounting from the University of Arizona - Eller College of Management.
