Gill Tasker

Gill Tasker is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in community management, marketing, and publishing. Currently serving as the Community Manager at Tessitura since February 2022, Gill oversees community engagement activities across Europe, North America, and Asia Pacific while supporting over 100 advocates in the global Community Chairs programme. Previous roles include Digital Creative Economy & Publishing Lecturer at the University of Stirling, Marketing Manager & Online Editor at Publishing Scotland, and Joint Managing Director at Cargo Publishing, where Gill led marketing communications and editorial projects. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Literature from the University of Strathclyde and a Certificate in Arts Sponsorship from the European Sponsorship Association, with recognition as the winner of the 2023 CMX Industry Award for Best User Group Programme Community.
