Christian Wäntig

Christian Wäntig is the current CFO at Testbirds. Prior to joining Testbirds, they were the Chief Financial Officer at Dornier Group from January 2016 to December 2020. Before that, they were Senior Manager Controlling & Finance at tado° GmbH from January 2015 to December 2016, where they were responsible for building the finance department and Debt & Equity Financing.

From January 2012 to December 2015, Christian was Manager Turnaround Management and M&A at Helbling Business Advisors, where they focused on performance improvement, restructuring, corporate finance, and M&A. Prior to that, they were an Associate at Capco from January 2011 to December 2012, working in financial services consulting with a focus on fixed income, derivatives, and hedge portfolios.

Christian began their career as an intern at HSBC in January 2010, working in investment banking on the equity capital markets and M&A teams. Christian also interned at LBBW in corporate lending and at Impera Total Return AG in venture capital and private equity.

Christian Wäntig studied economics at the Technical University of Dresden, where they earned their degree as a Diplom Volkswirt.

They are on a team with Tamás Lichter - CEO, Testbirds Hungary Kft, Tobias Brunner - Head of Marketing Communications, and Georg Hansbauer - Managing Director. Christian Wäntig reports to Philipp Benkler, CEO and Founder.
