Prior to that, they attended Clemson University College of Engineering, Computing and Applied Sciences, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2012 to 2016. In addition to their formal education, Austin also obtained additional certifications. In December 2018, they became a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB) through Lean Sigma Corporation. Furthermore, in April 2013, they obtained the SolidWorks Associate - Mechanical Design certification from Dassault Systèmes.
