Jayashree Giridharan

Jayashree Giridharan started their career as a Cinematographer at VIJAY Television Private Limited in 2013. Jayashree then worked as a Freelancer, collaborating with Yugi Sethu in scripting, being a personal photographer and graphic designer for Ilayaraja and their concerts, and working as a production manager for various projects. From 2014 to 2015, Jayashree worked as a 3D Modeler at mangopost. Jayashree then joined Amazon as a Video Designer, where they worked on graphic designs for web ads and product catalogue 3D models. In 2017, they worked as a Junior Assistant (Commercial Tax Department) in the Government of Tamil Nadu, but eventually left the job to pursue their passion. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Creative Designer at Madras MindWorks Pvt Ltd, where they participated in client meetings and created animation PSA videos and managed a YouTube channel. From 2018 to 2022, Jayashree worked at Freshworks, starting as a Video Designer and later becoming a Senior Video Designer. Jayashree collaborated with marketing teams on script planning for motion graphic product explainer videos for Freshmarketer and Freshsales CRM. Their most recent role is Lead Visual Designer at Testsigma, starting in 2023.

Jayashree Giridharan began their education journey in 2000 at Grace matriculation higher secondary school, where they completed their secondary education. Jayashree then went on to pursue a Diploma in Animation at Amaze Multimedia from 2009 to 2010, focusing on Animation, Interactive Technology, Video Graphics, and Special Effects. In 2010, they enrolled at the University of Madras, completing their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from 2010 to 2013. Finally, they attended SRM University from 2011 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in electronic media.
