Katie Moxter

Katie Moxter has worked in the finance and accounting field since 2008. Katie began their career as a Server/Caterer for Restaurant Associates in 2008. In 2009, they became a Business Course Tutor for the Virginia Tech Center for Academic Enrichment and Excellence. In 2010, they interned in Tax and Assurance for Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP. In 2011, they were a Graduate Teaching Assistant for Virginia Tech - Pamplin College of Business and an Intern for RSM US LLP. Katie then worked as an Associate, Audit for RSM US LLP from 2012 to 2018, during which time they also held roles as a Supervisor, Audit, Expatriate, Audit, and Senior Associate, Audit. In 2018, they became a Senior Manager, FP&A and a Manager, FP&A for Enverus. In 2021, they took on the role of Director, Finance and Accounting for Tethr.

Katie Moxter's education history includes a Master of Accounting and Information Systems from Virginia Tech in 2012, a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Accounting and Information Systems with a Minor in Global Business from Virginia Tech in 2011, a semester of business and French culture from Université de Bourgogne in 2009, and a high school diploma from St. Stephen's and St. Agnes School in 2007. Additionally, they are a Certified Public Accountant from the Virginia Board of Accountancy, obtained in 2013, and a Certified Public Accountant from the California Board of Accountancy, obtained in 2015.
