Deborah Huntley

Principal Archaeologist - Southwest at Tetra Tech

Deborah Huntley is a seasoned archaeologist with extensive experience in the field, currently serving as Principal Archaeologist for the Southwest at Tetra Tech since February 2016. Prior roles include Project Director at the Rio Grande Foundation for Communities and Cultural Landscapes, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing field research and managing project budgets and personnel from 2004 to 2007 and 2015 to 2016. Additionally, Deborah held the position of Preservation Archaeologist at Archaeology Southwest, where involvement included designing and teaching the University of Arizona/Archaeology Southwest Preservation Archaeology Field School. Academically, Deborah earned a Ph.D. in Anthropology from Arizona State University and a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Colorado Boulder.
