Del Hegarty

Del Hegarty is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in risk management and business operations, currently serving as the Senior Director of Risk Management at Tetra Tech ARD since November 2003. Del has overseen procurement, finance, administration, and human resources, and chairs the Internal Compliance Committee, enhancing internal controls and addressing allegations of misconduct. Previous roles include Business Operations Manager for USAID contracts in Colombia, Chief Program Officer for the ADAM program, and Deputy Chief of Party for the Democracy and Local Governance II program. Del's background also includes leadership positions with the American Red Cross, focusing on disaster recovery and organizational development in Honduras, and earlier roles in managing small grant programs and assisting small businesses through the Peace Corps. Del holds a Master’s degree in International Relations and Affairs from Ohio University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from The University of Akron.
